Charitable Project
This charitable project was established based on the needs of transplant activities and the extensive clinical experience of Professor of Ophthalmology Georgios Kymionis. The operation and equipment of the Athens Eye Bank are entirely funded through financial donations, with the main sponsor to date being the Social and Cultural Affairs Welfare Foundation (KIKPE). These funds are administered by the Special Account for Research Funds of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA).
